Sam & Daniel - A Social Distancing Session
Marietta, GA I Couple’s Photography
Story time! A couple of weeks ago Andrew and I were on a little neighborhood bike ride when we rode past these gems on a walk with their fur family. Once we got to a stopping place, I light-heartedly told Andrew that they were super cute and I wished I could do a social distancing session with them. Being cooped up in the house has left me with few creative outlets, and I was going a little stir crazy. ⠀
Andrew says, then just go ask them! So we bike back up the hill to see if we could find them. I know, not creepy at all. lol The whole riding up a hill thing had me a little out of breath, and I felt like a scattered mess. Bless them for not thinking I was a crazy person and hearing me out!⠀
That day I met Sam & Daniel! Daniel was on the phone, so Sam did most of the talking. We exchanged info and then a few days later I met them in their front yard for a little session... from a safe distance of course. ⠀
These photos are not flashy or super glamorous. They are not at an epic location or of curated wedding details. But these photos show the beauty of real life. They document this season we are in — that years from now we will tell our grandkids about. ⠀
What I love most about photography is the opportunity to show people what they look like through my eyes. I see so much beauty and grace in the world, and I believe that there is power in our stories. I hope that comes through in my photographs. ⠀
I’m thankful that Sam and Daniel agreed to do this with me. Seriously though, how stinkin cute are they!?
